Daily Lake 1Posted by Joyce (Montana, United States) on 27 July 2011 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. South on East River road, again, a few miles south of Emigrant -- It is so windy, but the wind is warm. I set my cam to infinity and am pleased with this. Taken 7/17 on a quick trip to Daily Lake on Six Mile road, to get a sunny calm beach fix...but got quite another experience. See further posts. Thank you for your visit and comments.

@L'angevine: Thank you very much for visiting my image and commenting. It is such a pleasure to share these soul stirring images, and to see your lovely captures also. Blessings! @Marie LC: And to visit your page today is a real gift heart to heart! Exquisite butterfly images and soundtract. Thank you for sharing your devotion to Nature. @Hiro: Thanks Hiro. @Rick: Yes can drink. I like to drink sunsets. :-) @Marleen: Thank you for visiting. I appreciate your comment. This image surprised and delighted me. I wanted it all: distance, detail, and water choppiness and the starkness of the high desert. Sometimes we do things just right. @Julie Brown: Hi! I did not walk too much this time. Really windy. Interesting how the wind can control things. There was a camping family a hundred yards to the right, and a bare baby splashing at the shore. I thought, that's the spirit! @Jason Politte: Thanks Jason. So true. High desert, and all the elements stirred up-- very Montana. @myky: Oh that is so wonderful. Many thanks, Deb. @Kat: Thanks a million!!!!! @Melissa: Funny how it does all lay there in tranquil lines and shapes and textures, but it was so windy my clothes almost beat on me, and the dynamic chop on the water was exciting. Yet peaceful. Can you imagine? I think it was the negative ions at war with Santanas. :-) |
