This is looking the opposite direction on the plateau that offers such splendid sights, and shows off it's first Fall snow here.
Thank you for your visit and comments. I so enjoy hearing from you and seeing the world through your lens.
@Ronnie 2¢: A few travel 25 to 50 miles to work. Many home employed, retired, some like Sherpa do travelling sales. Many work at the Resort. Many work several odd jobs to make ends meet. The challenging terrain and weather makes it not the ideal or easy place to live for people. An impressive number of us do try to grow our own food, and there is a large survivalist attitude of living "off the grid" consciousness in Montana. You can live simply here. Is that a good answer? Or were you just kidding? :D
@Francisco Romero: Thanks Francisco. We do have similar scenes you and I. I tell people about my Spanish Blog friend who posts awesome images of your unique mountains. And they are really different than ours. Mountains must have individual souls. :D
@Doug: Does your Glastonbury look like suede ever? I like the Fall look, with tempered color and brisk air.
@Mhelene: Thanks! I see this a couple of times a day, and it wears many costumes of weather and season & sun cycles.
@Slackwater - Don: Glad you are of that mind too. I think much more of it is coming.
@Doug: Yes. Look forward to some images of the first Glastonbury, actually, our namesake.
@Judy aka L@dybug: It is actually high desert, in the foothills where the road leads. Thanks Judy. Today we talked over coffee how grateful and lucky we are to live here, and so simply.
@Judy aka L@dybug: We do have some wonderful rugged beauty. Thanks for the vid!
