Blanket of Peace

Posted by Joyce (Montana, United States) on 11 November 2012 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

It still looks like this now for 4 days. Quiet and cold and pure, and like whip cream. I love it. One must simply bundle up to go outside. My thermometer was stuck on 20, but the temp was down to about zero when Sherpa came home last night. I like the squeak that snow makes when you step on it. Somewhere in the image is a road that was plowed yesterday.

Thank you for your visit and comments. I so enjoy hearing from you and seeing the world through your lens.

This is magical, Joyce ... the floating snowflakes are wonderful. Enjoy the peace!

I love the upper part.
After that, the foreground with the flash has, maybe, something too harsh, do you agree ?

@Basile Pesso: Yes I agree! I had not thought of the wasteland of boring blue snow in foreground. I was hanging out my front door and snapped this, very lazy of me, but it was pretty cold, and posted without scrutinizing. I have all winter to improve. :-) Thanks for the visit and comment, Basile.
