Lavender daisies walk the plank?

Posted by Joyce (Montana, United States) on 22 August 2013 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

On the dry hot path back from taking yesterdays' fiery image, I was arrested by this sweet scene of rich, overgrown creek-side grass and the little family of wildflowers which I had to step over to cross the creek. Reminding me that everything is temporary and to delight in the beautiful where ever I find it.
Fleabane daisy wildflower erigeron I researched them by googling "lavender wild flower daises"

Thank you for your visit and comments. I so enjoy hearing from you and seeing the world through your lens.

Hidden ones !
A very nice find

@Calusarus: Really sorta magical. What were they doing there on the plank amongst the rediculously high grass that almost swallowed the creek it seems. Funny and simple beauty.

So lovely and a beautiful reminder that nature has it's own ways to bring back beauty

@Doug: Yes, that kind of feeling. Over and over I find that because I have this photoblog "habit," I see things like this, and feel the appreciation for Nature, or just that in life, if you seek it, you will find it. Beauty.

So simple, so nice your framing, and the right light for it. Lovely after fire posts...
Have a nice day my friend.

Very pretty capture, Joyce. That 'fleabane' name always surprises me. The flower deserves something prettier. ;D
