Driftwood Critter

Posted by Joyce (Montana, United States) on 4 October 2013 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

Just thought this looked so photo worthy. The only piece of drift on the island. The king. Real big about 20 feet long. I should have left a shoe on his head to show proportion. Kinda looks like a dead upside down squid!!! Does it not!!!!!?

Thank you for your visit and comments. I so enjoy hearing from you and seeing the world through your lens.

It really does look like some resting reptile . . I've seen 'art' far less representative than this !

I love it ... "It looks like really dead..." <grin>
I'd call it a petrified gator with strange hind legs. ;D

The driftwood is a good foreground object for showing the beautiful mountains beyond. Nice one.

Lovely. My crazy imagination turned the log into a big dead lizard - head on the left with throat up, back feet sticking up on right side. Weird, huh?
