Frozen rain drops

Posted by Joyce (Montana, United States) on 11 October 2013 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

From yesterday's post I turned to capture the Iris leaves nearby that were beaded in crystals, or frozen rain I guess. Today I cannot find those 3 little lavender spheres that were captured. See them? Have no idea what they are. I think yesterday was a special day. There is frost again last night but no designs on the car this morning.

Thank you for your visit and comments. I so enjoy hearing from you and seeing the world through your lens.

What sweet mysteries there are if only we choose to look !

@Ronnie 2¢: I'm telling you I cannot find anything like those perfect little lavender spheres, but if I zoom in on this one of them has a spiral in it. Yes, universes within universes. I shall now swoon.

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

The shot gives a fresh new feel, yet without suggesting cold (either colour temperature or ambient temperature.)

@Curly: I know. They are frozen and will go down hill from here. That's ok. Sleep inside the soil til next spring.

The crystal drops make a very attractive enhancement to the plant itself. Well done.
