Rockn' Weeds

Posted by Joyce (Montana, United States) on 28 July 2014 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

I slip this into the City series because I walked just now, and want to post my rock friends.
Just walk anywhere and there are rocks, rocks and more rocks. It was 42 degrees F. last night and will be 88 today. Hot and dry and breezy. The sky was clean and pure, not a c-trail in sight, no wildfire haze. I squeeze the sage and smell its pure strong scent. The weeds shimmer like pale golden silk. Really stunning, to me.

Thank you for your visit and comments. I so enjoy hearing from you and seeing the world through your lens.

A lovely image you paint with your lens and words Joyce, I hope the wildfires stay away and you keep that wonderful fresh smelling air

This shot does have its unique beauty and appeal. The rock piles make great objects in the shot.
