Rushing North - Such Power

Posted by Joyce (Montana, United States) on 17 July 2017 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

I like just water pictures. This here is not designated heaven on Earth but the business of surging north it's icy annual snow melt which came close to flood level, but didn't overflow this year, but as always took lots of trees and stuff on a wild ride. One does not raft this water. But now there are boats on the water only a week later as the water is calm. I start campaigning for Ron to take me rafting about now. Slow, persistent soft nagging for the next 2 or 3 months.

Thank you for your visit and comments. I so enjoy hearing from you and seeing the world through your lens.

I like water. Raised on the Canadian prairies, I developed an appreciation for water. Now I enjoy going down to the lake and watching and listening to the water. I love photos of waterfalls, rivers, lakes and streams. And I like ocean shots the most. Long story short: I like your photo and story. Safe rafting.

@beach: Thanks for comment! I am swimmer, so share your reverence. And was raised near the Pacific, so I have a lot of salt in my veins.

I love the sounds and sight of moving water - mountain streams, water falls, and of course, the ocean. Go rafting, Ron.
