Do I really live here?

Posted by Joyce (Montana, United States) on 10 October 2018 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

I cut rectangles out of life and look at them from my chair in a darkened room. That's really laughably nuts. This is yesterday's view the other way. One day I did chigong in the midst of a breeze tickled yellow and gold dance of leaves with creek sounds and sunlight. I really got high.

Thank you for your visit and comments. I so enjoy hearing from you and seeing the world through your lens.

You are blessed to live in such a beautiful location. As a country boy transplanted to the city, I envy you.

@beach: Thank you for your honesty Country Boy. I am a Los Angelino, a transplant too. As often as I can remember I remind myself that altho only getting by in the regular way, I am in truth rich in "place."

The poetry of the daily reality, the breath that it gives you as you live and breathe, the little epiphanies of renewed gratitude... that is how to truly be alive in yourself. Well done, Joyce !
